News from Holy Spirit Parish
ast year Holy Spirit Parish
held two events each over
La period of approximately
twelve weeks. One was a
programme called 'Alpha', and
the other was a journey through
Scripture entitled 'Genesis to
Jesus'. Both consisted of a
video presentation followed by
discussion and prayer.
The 'Alpha' programme relied
heavily on the movement of
the Holy Spirit in people's lives,
while 'Genesis to Jesus' was
more about God's relationship
with His chosen people - and
ultimately with us today -
through the Covenants that He
made with them.
