Yesterday we celebrated the 10th anniversary of MacKillop Catholic College with our feast day mass at the Cathedral, which included three student baptisms. Congratulations to Nissa, Sarah and Temperance on joining the Catholic community, and congratulations also to this year’s deserving recipient of our College’s highest honour, the MacKillop Character Award – Koen Hughes. Mass was followed by food, activities and free time back at school for the rest of the day. Celebrations will continue throughout this week with the traditional Catholic Cup Rugby League tournament taking place upon Saints Field on Wednesday and the (in)famous “MacKillop’s Got Talent” back again on Friday. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in the life of our College over the past 10 years – students, families, staff and community, since the very beginning.
