Today, we remember the anniversary of the installation of Bishop Eugene Hurley as Bishop of Darwin. Eighteen years ago, Bishop Eugene was installed as the Bishop of our Diocese, where he served with deep faith and dedication until 2018.
We give thanks to God for Bishop Eugene’s many years of faithful ministry in our Diocese and earlier in Port Pirie. We continue to be blessed by his presence, wisdom, and his infectious enthusiasm for the love of God and God’s people.
