Bishop Charles Gauci explains the significance of Holy Week and Easter to young people in this video. During Lent, we reflect on our lives and make decisions to become more loving to God, ourselves, others and the world. Holy Week culminates in three special days: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.
On Holy Thursday, Jesus shared the Last Supper with His friends, and gave us the Eucharist so we can remember Him in a special way.
On Good Friday, Jesus was crucified by those who didn’t like what He was doing, challenging hypocrisy and bad deeds.
On Easter Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead after three days, reminding us that we too can have new life after death, living forever with God and each other.
