Dear brothers and sisters,
Amidst the recent discussions on Pope Francis’ statement about the blessing of individuals, especially those who are same-sex attracted or cohabiting, I wish to offer some insights in this video.
Pope Francis emphasises a pastoral approach, urging us all on the journey of ongoing conversion. He reminds us that God’s strength is essential as we strive to align ourselves with His will.
The Pope is not introducing new teachings but encourages openness to God’s guidance in our lives. Like Jesus, who dined with Zacchaeus, Pope Francis calls us to compassion and inclusion. We all undergo conversion, continually opening our hearts to God’s will.
In times of ideological attacks on Pope Francis, let us remember his role as the rock given to us by Jesus to keep the Church united. The devil delights in division, and we must remain vigilant against any attempts to sow discord within our faith community.
