concerns pertaining to the ‘unintended consequences’ of the ‘Anti-Discrimination Amendment Bill 2022’ with Katie Woolf
My dear Brothers and Sisters,
At 09:30am today I shared our concerns pertaining to the ‘unintended consequences’ of the ‘Anti-Discrimination Amendment Bill 2022’ with Katie Woolf on Mix 104.9.
Via this link you can listen to the discussion.
Following my comments Katie Woolf raised queries with Hon Chanston Paech – Attorney-General and Minister for Justice; Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage; Minister for Desert Knowledge Australia; Minister for Local Government; Minister for Racing, Gaming and Licensing.
We will continue to pray and request for:
1. Clarity on what ‘offend’ and ‘insult’ pertains to (and that we will continue to have the freedom to employ leaders such as the Principals, the Deputy and the Director of religious formation who are Catholics and uphold the Catholic ethos)
2. An explanation as to why clause 37A, which protected us to some degree was removed during the discussion in the Parliament when it was clearly present in the exposure draft a few days prior
God Bless!
