Last week we gathered as priests reflecting on our mission to serve the people of God as servant leaders.
We shared experiences about aspects of our ministry.
What is our practice in the way we celebrate baptisms, funerals and marriages etc.?
How do we celebrate Mass?
These are wonderful opportunities of connecting with the people of God.
Are these celebrations being experienced as moments of Grace? Are they transformative, leading to a deeper connection with God?
We also named the reality that we need to Minister in partnership with ‘lay’ people.
It is about partnerships, teamwork.
In everything, we need to keep using the process,
To see
To judge
To act.
Ongoing review needs to be inbuilt in all areas of Ministry.
Relationships are crucial in Ministry.
Together, we help spread the gift of the tongues of fire which came on the Apostles at Pentecost.
