As we begin to grow spiritually, we recognise more what we need to aspire for. We recognise ideals that are good and wholesome.

We also begin to recognise more the areas where we fail to live up fully to those ideals.

We become more honest with ourselves.

Hopefully, we continue to work on our relationships with internationality, to grow in integrity.

We do this while recognising that we always need to keep moving forward, to have goals while recognising that we are always getting there.

We learn to accept our limitations without becoming complacent or fatalistic.

Jesus used the example of a man ploughing a field who needs to keep looking forward and not look back.

We can at times be disappointed with ourselves and our limitations. Hopefully, we also come to a place where we can accept ourselves more.

We also hopefully grow more in also accepting others for who they are and not who we want them to be.

It is about becoming a more loving person.
