We hear ‘bad ‘news very often, almost every time that we listen to news broadcasts.
We pick up messages to be suspicious. We can even at times tend to be judgmental of others.
This is not to be surprised at. We hear of betrayals of various types, we hear of people being used by others. We do not want to be naive. That is not a bad thing.
However, it is not the whole picture.
If you were to stop somewhere and watch people go past:
You will at some stage see a parent walk by protecting and connecting with a child in a loving way.
You will see a family go past who obviously are sharing connection and love.
You will probably see two lovers holding hands.
Some people will go past, friends having a laugh together.
There will be other examples of people connecting, respectfully sharing love.
Sure you will also see people rushing past each other and possibly some disrespect as well.
However, let us not be blind to how much love there is going on around us.
It is good to keep reminding ourselves to be spreaders of love!
A smile and a ‘good day ‘ to a stranger, an acknowledgment of a respectful gesture by another. In so many ways we can ourselves be reminders to others that there is much love.
