This week, we farewell Fr Daniel Polla SVD, who has completed his time in the Northern Territory and will return to Indonesia. On Sunday, he celebrated his final Mass in Daly River, marking the end of two years of faithful and generous ministry in our Diocese.
Fr Daniel has served our parish communities with great care and commitment, and we are deeply grateful for his presence among us. He now returns home to continue his ministry and to be close to his mother, who is seriously unwell. Please keep both Fr Daniel and his family in your prayers.
We thank God for his time with us and ask the Lord to bless and strengthen him in the journey ahead.
