Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Fr Petrus Taneo CMF is leaving our Diocese for a new assignment. Fr Petrus has been ministering with us for 9 years, based in the family of Holy Family Parish – Karama. During this time, he has ministered faithfully to our multicultural Church. He has ministered in a special way to the Portuguese and Timorese communities, but also to the Indonesian community and other communities. He has endeared himself to many people and they will definitely miss him being here in Darwin.
For the last several months, Fr Petrus has been supporting Fr Julius at St Joseph’s Catholic Parish Katherine NT. We thank God for you, Fr Petrus, and for what you have given to us.
We will keep you in our prayers as you now serve the people of Indonesia, where you will now be ministering.
