Father Malcolm Fyfe MSC, is celebrating 60 years of Priestly
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Our Vicar General, Father Malcolm Fyfe MSC, is celebrating 60 years of Priestly Ordination on Wednesday the 25th of this month.
To mark the occasion, Father Malcolm will celebrate Mass, along with other priests, some from overseas, at St Paul’s Catholic Community Nightcliff, Nightcliff, at 11 am on Wednesday the 25th of May.
Bishop Eugene will preside at the Mass.
This will be followed by a shared lunch. Those who wish may choose to bring a plate but all are invited to stay for refreshments afterwards..
Clergy, Religious and Laity are all welcome for this special celebration.
Unfortunately, due to unavoidable circumstances, I will be away from the diocese that week celebrating various events with my family including a wedding and celebrating the life of my uncle who died a week or so ago.
For those who cannot attend Mass at 11am on Wednesday the 25th of May, Mass will be live-streamed here on our Diocesan FB page and web, links below:
We are grateful for Father Malcolm and his very committed and faithful ministry over many years. We thank our Lord, and we thank Fr Malcolm for his saying ‘Yes’ to His calling.
Yours in Christ,
+Bishop Charles Gauci
