Today Fr Dan Benedetti MGL celebrates his 50th Birthday. He joins a small but formidable group of Priests in our Diocese who have reached this landmark.
Fr Dan is currently the Priest Chaplain to St Martin de Porres Aboriginal ministry as well as Chaplain to the prisons and various other ministries of outreach.
He is a much loved and sought after as a caring pastor who spends himself in the service of many.
I still remember that young man of 18 or so many years ago when he was a novice in his congregation, and I met him in SA. He hasn’t lost his youthful zeal.
