We celebrate today the 10th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Fr. Mate Litric, who is incardinated into the Archdiocese of Sydney and a member of the Neocatechumenal Way. Fr. Mate has previously served as a missionary in Papua New Guinea and brings with him a wealth of pastoral and missionary experience.
We are grateful that he now serves as the Parish Priest of St Francis Parish Humpty Doo, overseeing the wider parish communities of Jabiru, Batchelor, Belyuen, and Maningrida, in joint ministry with Fr. Ronny Jose D’Cruz.
We thank God for Fr. Mate’s generous heart, missionary spirit, and deep love for God’s people. We warmly welcome him to our Diocese and pray that God will continue to bless him abundantly in his ministry.
