Today we celebrate the 45th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Fr. Leo Wearden MSC.
Fr. Leo has faithfully served for many years as Parish Priest of OLSH Parish Wadeye. Before that, he ministered for many years on the Tiwi Islands, and earlier served as a missionary in Papua New Guinea. A committed missionary priest, Fr. Leo’s love for God and God’s people is evident in his daily service.
We thank you, Fr. Leo, for your unwavering dedication and commitment. We thank God for you and pray that He will bless you with many more years of faithful service to God and God’s people.
