We celebrate today the 22nd anniversary of the ordination to the permanent diaconate of Deacon Anthony Cunningham.
Deacon Anthony has served our diocese faithfully for many years in a variety of ministries, including as Hospital Chaplain at Royal Darwin Hospital and other health care centres. He has also generously contributed through pastoral supervision and pastoral review, supporting many in ministry across our diocesan community.
Although now retired from full-time ministry, Deacon Anthony continues to serve whenever needed, offering his experience, wisdom, and pastoral care with generosity. We are also grateful for the loving support of his wife, Marjorie, and their family throughout his years of ministry.
Deacon Anthony, thank you for your faithful service and for all that you have given to our Diocese. May God continue to bless you abundantly.
