We celebrate today the 26th anniversary of the priestly ordination of Fr. John Kennedy, a priest incardinated into the Diocese of Darwin and Parish Priest of Christ the King Church, Tennant Creek, NT.
Fr. John serves with great dedication in one of the most remote parts of our diocese, faithfully ministering to God’s people with generosity and compassion. His commitment to the people of Tennant Creek has earned him the respect and affection of not only the Catholic community but also the wider town, where many seek him out for pastoral care and support.
We thank God for Fr. John, for his faithful priestly ministry, his love for God and God’s people, and his unwavering commitment to serving others in such an isolated and challenging community.
God Bless
