We celebrate today the 78th birthday of Deacon Anthony Cunningham. Over many years, Deacon Anthony has generously served in numerous ministries within our diocese, especially as Hospital Chaplain in Darwin, where he brought comfort, compassion, and the presence of Christ to so many.
Though now retired from hospital ministry, he continues to serve faithfully and remains supportive of our priests, including assisting with pastoral reviews.
We thank God for Deacon Anthony for his enduring love of God and God’s people and we are grateful for the steadfast support of his wife, Marjorie and their family throughout his years of ministry.
