Today, we celebrate the 85th birthday of our beloved Emeritus Bishop Eugene Hurley.
Bishop Eugene has dedicated his life to the service of God and the Church, faithfully ministering in the Diocese of Port Pirie and later as Bishop of Darwin. Now serving as Emeritus Bishop, he continues to offer his wisdom and pastoral care with unwavering commitment.
I am personally grateful for his ongoing support. He has been a generous guide, a wise consultant, and a true companion in ministry. Thank you, Bishop Eugene, for your constant “yes” to God and for all you do for His people.
You are a truly wonderful person.
Happy Birthday, Emeritus Bishop Eugene Hurley!
God Bless
