We celebrate today the 53rd birthday of Fr. Daniel Benedetti MGL (Missionaries of God’s Love). Fr. Dan is currently ministering in our diocese, having previously served here before spending time in other ministries and now returning once again to support our community.
We thank God for his committed service, especially in prison ministry, where he has a great heart and deep capacity for accompaniment and pastoral care. We are also grateful for his dedicated ministry among our Aboriginal brothers and sisters, and for the many other ways he serves across the diocese.
Fr. Daniel, thank you for your love of God and God’s people. We pray that you will continue to be a living witness to the Gospel and to the transforming love of God in all that you do.
God Bless
