Today, we celebrate the 37th birthday of Fr. Shehan Fernando, our Director of Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Darwin. Fr. Shehan, who recently marked his first anniversary of priestly ordination on the 31st of July, continues to serve with great dedication and joy.
He works tirelessly in accompanying and guiding our young people in faith, while also assisting at St Mary’s Star of the Sea Cathedral, Darwin. His pastoral care and compassionate presence touch the lives of many, especially through his ministry of counselling and spiritual guidance.
We thank God for Fr. Shehan’s zeal, energy, and joyful spirit, and we pray that God will continue to bless him abundantly in his ministry and service among God’s people.
God Bless
