We celebrate today the birthday of Fr. John Kennedy, Parish Priest of Christ the King Church, Tennant Creek, NT.
Fr. John is a much-loved pastor who serves the people of Tennant Creek with great dedication, generosity, and faith. Ministering in a challenging and remote setting, he continues to be a compassionate presence to all who come to him. He is known and cherished not only by the Catholic community but by the wider town, earning the affectionate title of “the Priest of the Town.”
We thank God for Fr. John, for his prayerful service, his unwavering commitment to God’s people, and the generous way he shares the love of Christ with those entrusted to his care. His kindness, pastoral heart, and open presence are a blessing to the whole community.
Fr. John, thank you for your love of God and God’s People. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless you abundantly in your ministry.
