Happy International Women’s Day to all the incredible women of the Northern Territory! 
Reflecting on my upbringing in Malta, I recall the strength and equality exemplified by my mother and grandmothers. They taught me the value of treating everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of gender. Yet, I recognise that not all women have had the same opportunities.Today, let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made toward gender equality while acknowledging the work that still lies ahead. May we continue to strive for a world where every woman is valued, respected, and given equal opportunities.
