Maddison from MacKillop Catholic College, Palmerston, asked a beautiful question that touches every believer’s heart:
“Is God always with us?”
Bishop Charles smiled as he responded, “Absolutely! We cannot be anywhere without God because God made everything. Nothing would exist if God wasn’t there.”
He went on to explain that God’s presence fills all of creation — but His love for human beings is uniquely special.
Jesus promised to be with us always, not just in times of joy, but also in our struggles, fears, and quiet moments.
Bishop Charles reminded us that God loves each of us more deeply than anyone else ever could, and that His presence is constant — we are never alone.
