Mass Update

I invite you to join us for the Chrism Mass – a deeply significant liturgical celebration.

Date: Tuesday, 8 April 2025

Time: 7:00 PM onwards

Venue: St Mary’s Star of the Sea Cathedral, Darwin

During this sacred Mass, the Holy Oils used in the sacraments throughout the coming year will be blessed and consecrated. Priests, religious, and representatives from across the Darwin Diocesan Community will gather in unity around the Bishop in a powerful expression of our shared faith and mission.

This is a moment of grace and communion – and all are most welcome to attend.

Let us come together as one body in Christ to pray, give thanks, and renew our commitment to serving God’s people.
