As we begin our school year, dear students, I offer you my prayer and blessing for the year ahead. May your classrooms be places where you grow not only in knowledge, but also in kindness, courage, faith, and hope. You are known and loved by God, and our Catholic schools are places where your gifts are nurtured so that you may flourish as whole persons, mind, heart, body, and spirit.
To our teachers and school staff, thank you for the generosity with which you serve our young people. Your work is far more than the passing on of information; it is the shaping of lives. May God strengthen you in your vocation, grant you wisdom and patience, and renew you in the knowledge that your care for the whole person reflects the heart of Christ the teacher.
To families and all who support our children – parents, carers, grandparents, and community members, thank you for the love and encouragement you give each day. You are our children’s first teachers and greatest supporters. May this school year be one of partnership, trust, and shared hope, as together we help our young people grow into the people God calls them to be.
May God bless you and keep you, fill your days with hope and courage, and guide our Catholic school communities to grow in wisdom, compassion, and faith, now and always.
