From Monday, June 26, 2023, 1:00 PM, to Wednesday, June 28, 2023, Diocesan youth (grades 7-12) embarked on a thrilling and unforgettable three-day journey at Riyala, discovering the boundless blessings bestowed by God.
With an array of captivating workshops, inspiring speeches, exciting games, and engaging activities, the youth were immersed in non-stop excitement throughout the entire event. Adding to the exhilaration, the finest live music that Darwin has to offer filled the weekend with melodic bliss. For many, this experience was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and revealing a love from God they never knew they needed.
The conduct of the group was commendable, and the Reconciliation, Prayer Ministry, and Adoration session had to be prolonged by 45 minutes due to the active engagement and enthusiastic involvement of the youth in this transformative ministry.
Centred around the theme of “RIGHT NOW,” Breakaway presented three days of enlightening talks, immersive workshops, and a sense of community, all inspired by the scripture reading from Esther 4:14. It reminded everyone that there is no better time than the present to seize the moment and embrace the abundant blessings that await.
