Many of us will remember Fr Raass (Fr Asaeli Raass SVD) who served in our Diocese for many years especially as Parish Priest at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish Alice Springs but also in other capacities in the Diocese.
Fr Raass is currently the provincial of the SVD community who serves our Diocese so well.
His brother Zechariah died last night in Fiji. It was a blessing that Fr Raass was able to make it to be with the family a short time before Zach died.
Condolences to Fr Raas and his family as we keep them in our prayers.
Zechariah rest in peace.
