On the eve of the Fourth Sunday of Lent, Bishop Charles invites the faithful to enter into a sacred time of prayer, reflection, and reconciliation as part of the Church’s initiative, 24 Hours with the Lord.
This special observance, instituted by Pope Francis, is a grace-filled opportunity to pause and journey with the Lord—to spend intentional time in the presence of Jesus, to deepen one’s relationship with God, and to experience the healing power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
“In a world filled with challenges, we do not lose hope,” says Bishop Charles. “Instead, we are strengthened through our communion with Christ.”
As we move through this Year of Jubilee—walking together as pilgrims of hope—Bishop Charles encourages all to embrace these 24 hours as a moment of intimacy with the Lord, a time for prayer, and an encounter with God’s mercy.
Let us journey together in faith, with hearts open to healing and renewal.
