Today, August 25, is Social Justice Sunday—a day to reflect on the challenges of our world and our call to be peacemakers. The 2024-2025 Social Justice Statement, “Truth and Peace: A Gospel Word in a Violent World,” guides us in this mission.
In a world full of turmoil, our Bishops remind us that peace is possible when we place our trust in Christ, the Prince of Peace. Let’s commit to fostering dialogue, building a culture of encounter, and being peacemakers, both locally and globally.
