Today is the feast of St. Arnold Janssen, the founder of the SVD (Divine Word Missionaries – Australia Province) congregation. We thank God for those missionaries, and members of this congregation, who minister in our diocese. We give thanks for the love they share with so many of our people in the Parishes of Santa Teresa, Alice Springs, Daly River, and the Tiwi Islands. We pray that God will continue to bless them in their ministry and grant them vocations.
