Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today we celebrate 75 years of the Canossian Sisters’ presence in Australia (Canossians Australia).
In 1949, a courageous group of Canossian missionaries responded to God’s loving invitation, embarking on a new mission to Australia. Amidst the challenges of language, culture, and seemingly unfamiliar tasks, they placed their trust in God, who, in His providence, guided and sustained them.
We’re grateful for the presence of the Canossian Sisters in our Diocese and for their dedicated ministry to God and His people. On this special occasion, we extend heartfelt wishes to the Canossian Sisters for a joyous Feast and pray for God’s abundant blessings upon them.
