Today, we give heartfelt thanks for the incredible service of Sr Rita Zuccher, FdCC, who has been a beloved member of our Diocese. Over the past two years, and previously for ten years, Sr Rita has enriched our community with her dedication and compassion. Her nursing home ministry at Pearl and Regis has brought comfort to many, as have her Lenten programs, home visitations, and tireless work with the Italian community. Her gift of spiritual companionship has been a blessing to all who have sought her guidance and support.
As Sr Rita moves to Queensland tomorrow, to continue her nursing home ministry, we will greatly miss her presence in Darwin. On behalf of the Diocese, I thank Sr Rita for her love, faith, and tireless commitment to serving others. Please join me in praying for her as she begins this new chapter, and may God continue to guide her in her mission. Go with our blessings, Sr Rita, you leave behind a legacy of joy and kindness that will not be forgotten!
