Feast of the Presentation of the Lord – World Day of Consecrated Life
Today, as we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, we also give thanks to all those who have embraced Consecrated Life. This year, as we walk together through the Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope, we are reminded of the powerful invitation to “Open the door of your heart.”
To all the religious sisters, brothers, and priests who have opened their hearts to God’s call: thank you for being bearers of hope. Through your service in education, health care, pastoral ministry, and outreach to those in need, you reflect the light of Christ and guide others on the path of faith and renewal.
Your commitment to walk as pilgrims of hope, especially in remote and challenging places, is a gift to the Church and a source of inspiration for us all. Your prayers sustain the mission of Christ, and your daily witness opens doors of faith, healing, and compassion.
Let us continue to hold all consecrated men and women in our prayers, asking God to bless them with renewed strength and joy as they carry out their mission of hope.
Together, may we all strive to be pilgrims of hope and open our hearts to Christ’s call.
